Uses of Caladiums in a Landscape
Mass planting Caladiums creates a focal point in a landscape. White cultivar selection are excellent choices to for mixing with ferns and hostas. Can be grown around the base of a tree. Can be grown as a ground cover. They also grow well in containers.
Light conditions;
They thrive well in shady or semi- shady locations. A few of them tolerate sunshine. The leaf colors are more vibrant when grown in shade.
Watering;
Keep the soil evenly moist during the growing season. If you allow the soil to dry out completely, the leaves may yellow and drop.
